Released in August 2005, Take a Ride is Gazza's first CD.

"Being a huge Johnny Cash Fan, I had to include some of Johnny's hits. The CD features four Johnny Cash Classics, as well as a favourite of mine from Waylon Jennings, "Good Hearted Woman". The final track is a Highwaymen hit, Last Cowboy Song", I did in duet with a good mate of mine, Mick Hearn. Another good friend of mine, Kylie Austin (a kiwi) joined me on "Jackson".

The CD also features a song from the new Country Outlaw, Toby Keith, "I love this bar", and "Smokey Places" a favourite from my days in Rica Chez back in NZ.

I have also included two of my own compositions, "Take a Ride" dedicated to my lovely wife Jean, and "My Guitar" a tongue-in-cheek dedication to all of us who try to play a Guitar
